Introducing Our New Artist in Residence, Casey McGee!
Come and meet our resident artist, Casey (they/them) who will be working in the Digital Creator North Bay space until the end of March! Casey McGee (@planetmoonstars) is an emerging artist, focused on art direction, community arts, and film directing. They are currently streaming part-time and working on various personal projects in cosplay, filmmaking, and online content creation. Casey previously produced the documentary “10/17” which was selected by four festivals internationally and received an Award of Commendation at the Canadian and International Short Film Fest in Saint John, New Brunswick. Casey looks forward to creating content that people can see themselves in, focusing specifically on queer content and themes like identity and self-love.
Digital Creator North Bay March Break Comic Camp
Are you looking for a super fun and exciting way to spend your March Break? Look no further than Digital Creator North Bay’s March Break Camp, happening at our awesome creator space in The Capitol Centre! March 13th -17th, from 9AM to 3PM, kids aged 11 and up can let their creativity run wild and make awesome digital art using iPad Airs, the magical Apple Pencil, and digital art software!

We are still buzzing with excitement following our Grand Opening weekend! Huge thank you to all the partners, friends, staff, and members of the community that came out to visit us at Digital Creator North Bay on Saturday and made this event possible. Thank you to our funders at Canada Council for the Arts and the Ontario Trillium Foundation. We appreciate all of your support as we continue to grow into our new, vibrant, youthful, and exciting location at the Capitol Centre.
DGTL Creator North Bay Grand Opening!
Join us Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 11am – 1pm for our Open House & Press Launch event. During this event we welcome members of the community to come by and visit our space located on the lower level of the Capital Centre at 150 Main St E, North Bay (enter from the parking lot). Activities will include Light-Art Photography, Mixing like a DJ, Photoshop Fun with Portraits, and tours of our newest location.
